Clean Car Wraps With A Carwash
Wrapped vehicles may be washed in a carwash. However, you should make sure the carwash is touchless. Brush carwashes can cause damage to vehicle graphics, including dulling, scratching and lifting vinyl edges. As long as you meet the following requirements, pressure washers can be used to clean vehicle wraps.
Water pressure is maintained below 2000 psi
Water temperature is maintained below 80 degrees Celsius
Pressure washers use a spray nozzle that has a wide angle of 40 degrees.
The vinyl graphic is at least 90 degrees away and at least one foot from the nozzle.
Handwashing Vinyl Wrapped Vehicles
Hand washing is preferred over pressure or car wash for cleaning car wraps. Wash your car regularly or whenever it appears dirty. If contaminants are left on the wrap for a long time, they can be difficult to remove. Follow these easy steps to wash your Diamond Car Wrapsping.(Car Wraps)
Use the spray nozzle on the garden hose to rinse the graphic.
In a bucket, combine water with a mild carwash soap.
Use the soap and water mixture to wet a sponge
